• When planning your trip be aware that most wineries open at 10:00am and close at 5:00pm.

• Bring music.  It will make your trip more enjoyable during the drive up to and back from Temecula.

• It’s normally a little warmer in Temecula than in San Diego, so please remember to dress appropriately.  Click the link above for the current temperature.

• Many of the wineries have picnic areas with amazing views.  You many want to pack a lunch.  There are also a few restaurants but some are only open at certain times so plan ahead.

• Don’t forget your camera!!

• Water is important.  It can be hot and drinking wine can easily dehydrate you.

• You may want to bring a bag to hold souvenirs because each winery gives you a glass to take with you and some of the wineries have gift shops as well.
